Wellness support, not medical advice

HeartLane is a companion app designed to help you build gentle, heart-healthy habits. The information, summaries, and suggestions HeartLane provides — including blood pressure categories, food coaching, and AI analyses — are general wellness information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional.

Always follow your doctor's guidance about your health, medications, and treatment plan. Never change your medication, diet, or activity based on HeartLane's content without checking with your care team first.

When to seek emergency care

A blood pressure reading of 180/120 mmHg or higher is a hypertensive crisis and needs immediate medical attention. Do not wait to see if it comes down on its own.

Call emergency services right away if you experience any of:

  • Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
  • Shortness of breath
  • Vision changes, severe headache, or confusion
  • Numbness, weakness, or trouble speaking
  • A reading of 180/120 or higher

In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

Do not use HeartLane to decide whether a reading is safe — talk to a clinician or seek emergency care.

About the blood pressure categories

HeartLane sorts your readings into ranges (Normal, Elevated, Stage 1, Stage 2, and Crisis) based on commonly published guidelines. These ranges are a general reference to help you notice patterns, not a diagnosis. Only your doctor can diagnose high blood pressure or decide what your target range should be.

AI analyses are informational

The AI-generated reading analyses and food coaching in HeartLane are produced by a language model and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Treat them as a starting point for conversation with your doctor or a registered dietitian — never as a care plan.
